After Davido News, Edday Shares Pics Of Son In Swimming Pool

Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu has given her fans a bit of a scare after posting pics of her son floating and swimming in a swimming pool. Any other day and this may have been a normal post, but the timing could not be any less perfect with the news of Nigerian singer Davido own son’s death in a swimming pool drowning.

Perhaps Edday has no idea of the Davido news or even know who he is, but still her fans got a bit shaken by her post. “My boy having a good time,” she captioned the pics.

Here are some of the reactions the post got from fans: “Swimming pool watoto apana,” wrote Suzzy, to which another fan replied in agreement, “Jamani hata Mimi after kusikia what happened kwa mtoto wa davido nmeogopa😢.”

Another fan commented on Edday’s post saying, “Sahiii swimming pool is a no go zone kwa watoto aki.”

Celebrities send condolences to Davido

The entire African continent was filled with a dark cloud when news came out that the son of Afrobeats maestro Davido has sadly passed away after events that followed his drowning in a swimming pool at his father’s home in Banana Island, Lagos state.

According to multiple reports, three year old Ifeanyi was rushed to hospital and allegedly succumbed while doctors were trying to save his life.

Fan or no fan, their messages all had one thing in common, the fact that they thought that it was unfair for the child to leave the world at such a young age. Even as at the time of writing this article, messages are still streaming in with many hoping that the two find peace in this trying time.

Among the many who sent their condolence messages to davido was British Rapper Stefflon Don, who stated that she was intervening for them.

Guardian Nigeria Journalist President Eniola Daniel, also sent his message of condolences and went ahead to suggest that the domestic workers who were in charge should not go unpunished.

“Davido and Chioma lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke. Just like the son of Dbanj, Ifeanyi allegedly drowned in the swimming pool. He was said to be underwater for a very long time before being spotted. He was rushed to Lagoon Hospital but confirmed dead on arrival.” President Eniola Daniel.
