Abada and Hatate start as Celtic makes three changes from Hearts win
Abada #Abada
Celtic have made three changes to the team that beat Hearts last weekend for Sunday’s trip to Tannadice.
Ange Postecoglou has replaced Moritz Jenz, David Turnbull and Daizen Maeda with Liel Abada, Reo Hatate and Carl Starfelt for the game against struggling Dundee United.
Kyogo again leads the line beside Jota and Abada, although Giorgios Giakoumakis, who scored after coming off the bench against Hearts last Sunday, is missing from the squad.
Hatate is playing in a three man midfield beside Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley as Starfelt returns to partner Cameron Carter-Vickers in defence with Juranovic and Taylor at right and left back and Joe Hart between the sticks.
Meanwhile former Celtic players Charlie Mulgrew and Tony Watt are both on the bench for United who have been in freefall since their 7-0 drubbing to AZ Alkmaar in the Conference League qualifiers.
Carl Eriksson starts in goals for Jack Ross’s side with Freeman, Smith, Edwards and McCann in front of him and a midfield of Meekison, Harkes and Graham.
Dylan Levitt and Glenn Middleton will be looking to support Steven Fletcher up front.
Dundee United have lost their last four games and conceded 15 goals in the process. Celtic on the other are looking to continue their perfect start to the season after four wins in their opening four games.
