Aaron Rodgers shared a glimpse into his latest sports injury — and the shoes that are helping his recovery. On Wednesday, Rodgers virtually appeared on the “Pat McAfee Show” to discuss the current football season and his Achilles tendon injury, as well as Keen’s WK400 walking sneakers — which he’s been wearing throughout his physical therapy, deeming the style “Super dad shoes” from their chunky base and practical silhouette.

“They have a half circle on the bottom that allows me to get from my heel to my midfoot to my toe pretty easily,” Rodgers shared in the YouTube video on McAfee’s channel for the occasion.

Rodger’s Keen sneakers, in fact, were originally oriented for easy movement and walking. The $160 style, which launched in February, features a traction-focused rubber sole with lightweight mesh uppers. The lace-up style is complete with nylon plates for additional balance, as well as a mesh lining and PU insole for a comfortable fit.

Rodgers’ shoes are also available in an array of colors; aside from neutral black and gray hues, the style also comes in vibrant yellow and blue colorways as well.

Rodgers’ discussion of his Keen recovery shoes are the latest update to his athletic and shoe repertoire. The football star, who currently serves as the quarterback for the New York Jets, has been signed as an Adidas athlete since 2015. In 2021, he also began investing in men’s footwear brand Amberjack — and later released a co-designed collection with the label in September.
