Aaron Rodgers forced to wear Auburn jersey by C.J. Uzomah after Cal loss to Tigers

Aaron Rodgers traded his Berkeley blue and California gold for Auburn’s blue and orange on Sunday, but it wasn’t by choice.
Rodgers, the four-time NFL MVP and quarterback of the New York Jets — who played for the Cal Bears in college — appears to have made a bet with former Auburn tight end C.J. Uzomah over the Cal-Auburn game.

With the visiting Tigers edging out the Bears 14-10 on Saturday night, Rodgers was seen on video on Uzomah’s Instagram Story sporting an Auburn cap and a bright orange shirt with “War Eagle” across the front.
On the video, taken at the Jets’ facilities, Uzomah tried getting Rodgers to say, “War Eagle,” but Rodgers declined with a laugh. For him, the outfit seemed to be enough.
Uzomah, who’s in his second season with the Jets, was drafted in the fifth round by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2015. The veteran tight end played three seasons with the Tigers, recording 29 career receptions for 435 yards and seven touchdowns.
