A popular Rock Hill taproom will close for good on Sunday

Good Sunday #GoodSunday

A Rock Hill taproom will close its doors for good Sunday.

Dust Off Brewing Company posted on its Facebook page its taproom on West White Street will close after five years. Dust Off will remain open 4-9 p.m. this week; noon to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.

“It has not been an easy decision to make and we appreciate your support over the last five years,” the post reads.

The post also calls for customers to continue their support of area craft breweries.

Dust Off began as a veteran-owned brewery and taproom in 2018. A former medevac pilot and business partner opened the site in a growing craft brewery scene in the area, particularly Rock Hill and Fort Mill.

There’s even a YoCo Brew Trail that formed to spotlight area breweries. In addition to Dust Off, the trail has Lake Wylie Brewing Co., Legal Remedy Brewing, Middle James Brewing, Off the Tracks Brewing, Rock Hill Brewing Company and Slow Play Brewing in Rock Hill.

Fort Mill adds Amor Artis Brewing, The Print Shop by Amor Artis, Replay Brewing and Untamed Waters Brewing. Clover has Courtney’s Brewery as part of the popular Courtney’s BBQ restaurant. Tega Cay adds Model A Brewing.
