A Feel Good Friday surprise for 2 EMTs who went the extra mile for a mom following a horrible crash
Good Friday #GoodFriday
EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Idaho Falls and Pocatello are partnering to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
We recently received an email about two Idaho Falls Firefighters/EMTs who helped a mother following a horrible crash.

I would love to recognize a couple of awesome Idaho Falls firefighters. I was recently in a car accident. I had so many great EMTs, police officers and firefighters who assisted with the wreck. I would like to tell you about two.
I was really nervous, my adrenaline was pumping, so I found myself talking to keep my mind off things. I had mentioned to the ambulance worker that I was heading into Idaho Falls to get parade candy for my daughter who was participating in the Iona Parade the following day. Needless to say, I didn’t get a chance to get the candy.
Once at the hospital, I thanked the two ambulance workers and off to x-ray and CT scans I went. When I returned to my room, my husband said that the ambulance workers had dropped off a big bag of candy!!
I cannot express the gratitude I felt for those two workers going out of their way to bring parade candy for my daughter. They were so very kind and helped calm my nerves on the ambulance ride.
I don’t know either of their names, but I would be so appreciative if you could help me track them to thank them for their efforts!
We were able to track down both of the firefighters and we went with Sally and her daughter to thank them for their kindness. Watch the surprise in the video player above!
