When the Los Angeles Dodgers squared off with the Houston Astros on Tuesday night everyone wondered how long it would take for one of LA’s pitchers to hit an Astros player with a pitch in retaliation for the cheating that lifted Houston over the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series.

Well, it took a while but we finally got an answer to that – the bottom of the sixth inning.

That’s when Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly plunked Alex Bregman with a 3-0 pitch that sure seemed to be on purpose.

Check out this pitch and judge for yourself if it was on purpose or not:

Later in the inning Kelly almost hit Carlos Correa with a pitch before striking him out and then mocked him on the way to the Dodgers dugout, which led the benches to clear, though nothing happened except some talking between the teams

Look at the face Kelly made at Correa!

Amazing.

Earlier in the game Dodgers starter Walker Buehler had some words with Bregman:

The two teams play again tomorrow night.
