Broncos tweet appreciation video to Phillip Lindsay after split

After mutually agreeing to part ways with the running back on Thursday, the Denver Broncos tweeted an appreciation video to Phillip Lindsay that highlighted his time with the team.

The Broncos have rescinded Lindsay’s tender, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent. Mike Boone, who agreed to a two-year contract with Denver on Wednesday, seems to be a likely candidate to replace Lindsay as the new No. 2 running back behind Melvin Gordon.
