HOUSTON (AP) — Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota will start on Monday against the Houston Texans despite missing practice after suffering a stinger last Sunday.

Mariota returned to practice late in the week after recovering from the injury that forced him to sit out of Tennessee’s 38-10 loss to Indianapolis last Sunday.

Inactive for the Titans were WR Taywan Taylor, DB Dane Cruikshank, RB David Fluellen, RB Dalyn Dawkins, G Aaron Stinnie, T Tyler Marz and DL Matt Dickerson.
