WATCH: Lonzo Ball finds Zion Williamson for full-court alley-oop vs. Grizzlies
Lonzo #Lonzo
Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson continued to make a remarkably difficult play look simple on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
For the second time inside the NBA’s bubble at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Ball and Williamson showed the long hiatus had little effect on their chemistry by hooking up for one of their longest alley-oops yet.
Following a made three-pointer from Memphis’ Anthony Tolliver, Ball took the ensuing inbound and hoisted a lob from just past the opposite three-point line. As is often the case, Ball’s pass was pinpoint accurate, floating just over Tolliver’s hands and finding a gliding Williamson who slammed home with authority.
The two connected for a shorter but equally impressive alley-oop against the Utah Jazz in their opening game inside the bubble.
Ball and Williamson both had strong opening first-half performances for the Pelicans as they led 58-51 over the Grizzlies. Ball had seven points and five assists while Williamson had nine points and six rebounds.
