  • Who hacked BTS TikTok account?

On March 8, BTS fans were excited to find out that the band had uploaded a video to their TikTok account. However, concerns grew when they realized it wasn’t a post made by BTS.

The video was a collection of cartoons dancing. With nearly 30 million followers on TikTok, it was no surprise that people understood the account had been hacked.

The hacker went on to upload more videos. However, they were taken down in a span of few minutes. As several fans commented on the post, many noticed that one of the videos asked to follow a user whose handle was o2m. At the same time, it showed that the BTS TikTok account was now following o2m and another user who went by the name 3mk_mosab.

If one looks up o2m on TikTok, the profile does not give any information on who this person is. As of now, the user has 2849 followers on TikTok. Meanwhile, 3mk_mosab has 385 followers. Both of them have uploaded the videos that were initially found on BTS’ TikTok.
