There’s no denying that Carey Price has struggled to get his game to the necessary level this season, and that has been a trend in recent years. After the goaltender finally got back in the win column on Tuesday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Stéphane Waite had been relieved of his duties, with Sean Burke stepping into his role.

Since Burke will need to heed the 14-day quarantine rules before joining the team, his duties will be temporarily handled by former Laval Rocket goalie coach Marco Marciano.

Waite joined the team in 2013, entering the organization at the same time Marc Bergevin took control of the general managing duties. After nearly a decade of working with Waite, Price will have a new perspective to help him get back to a more expected level of play.
