There has been a buzz — not a loud one, but a constant murmur — about Russell Wilson being unhappy in Seattle.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter poured some heat on to the fire Thursday by revealing the Seahawks’ quarterback has shared the list of teams he would consider playing for if traded. That said, the quarterback prefers to stay where he is.

The teams on the list are the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders and Chicago Bears, the quarterback’s agent told ESPN.

Russell Wilson has told the Seahawks he wants to play in Seattle but, if a trade were considered, the only teams he would go to are the Cowboys, Saints, Raiders and Bears, his agent Mark Rodgers said to ESPN.

The Athletic reported on the divide between the team and its star quarterback.

Wilson led the Seahawks to the NFC West title in 2020. Wilson has played nine seasons with Seattle, making all 144 starts. He has been sacked 394 times while throwing for 33,946 yards and 267 touchdowns.
