Domantas Sabonis not selected as 2021 NBA All-Star reserve

No Indiana Pacers were selected to the 2021 NBA All-Star game, including star forward Domantas Sabonis, who is having a career year. The NBA announced the All-Star reserves Tuesday on TNT, with the voting based on a poll of NBA head coaches who were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Sabonis is averaging 21.5 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists while shooting 52.8% from the field. Sabonis was passed over by  Julius Randle, Jayson Tatum and Nikola Vucevic, among others. 

The 2021 All-Star Game will be March 7  in Atlanta.

Additionally, Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner, who are also having strong seasons, were not selected.
