10 Avatar Characters Naruto Could Easily Destroy
Kurama #Kurama
Though Avatar: The Last Airbender may have aired on Nickelodeon, it was by no means a standard kids show. The series followed Aang, the new Avatar who needed to master all four elements in order to defeat the Firelord— but the story is far more complex than that because it deals with adult themes like war, genocide, imperialism, totalitarianism, and free choice.

Naruto is one of the most successful anime franchises in the world, and it focuses on a young ninja who wants to become the leader of his village. By the end of the series, Naruto gains so much power that he is basically a god. If Naruto were to ever find himself in the Avatar universe, he would be amazed by those who are capable of bending the elements— but if he were to fight any established characters, there is a good chance he would destroy most of them with ease.
10 Sokka Has No Bending & Naruto Wouldn’t Be Beaten By Simple Weapons
Benders are undoubtedly the strongest fighters in the Avatar series, but Sokka has shown that even non-benders can be good fighters. While training to become a soldier, Sokka learned to use a variety of weapons— including his trusted boomerang— but he also became an expert swordsman by the end of the series.
Naruto is essentially a ninja god, which means that it would be very difficult for Sokka to land a hit with his boomerang. And even if it did hit, it wouldn’t be able to knock Naruto out. Sokka could try attacking with his sword, but the blade would never pierce Naruto’s Kurama mode, and it would offer no protection from a Rasenshuriken.
9 Azula’s Most Effective Weapon Is Lightning & It’s Completely Countered By Naruto’s Wind Style Jutsu
Azula proved to be evil on several occasions, but aside from being a sadistic and manipulative character, she was a firebending prodigy. Azula is easily one of the strongest firebenders in the franchise, mainly because of her overall skill, but also because she was able to use lightning.

The lightning is actually Azula’s trump card, and it might do a lot of damage to Naruto if it hits him— but his Wind Release is a natural counter to Lightning, and he can completely negate it with with his Rasengan or Rasenshuriken. He can also counter her bending by attacking her from all sides with his multi shadow clone jutsu.
8 Ty Lee Can Be Taken Down With A Few Of Naruto’s Shadow Clones & A Single Rasengan
Ty Lee is the daughter of a Fire Nation nobleman, and she provided fans with some entertaining quotes. When she got older, Ty Lee left home and joined a circus, which is where she became an accomplished acrobat— and she used those skills to improve her hand-to-hand combat skills.
She focuses on attacking the body’s pressure points, and doing so disrupts the flow of her opponent’s chi, which is why she can temporarily paralyze her opponents. Naruto can get around this by using a few shadow clones to confuse and distract her, and this would leave her wide open to a Rasengan strike that can knock out almost anyone.
7 Suki Isn’t A Bender & Naruto’s Kurama-Enhanced Punches Would One-Shot Her
Suki was a Kyoshi Warrior, and like the other women in her order, she was responsible for defending Kyoshi Island. Suki may be the franchise’s best non-bender, as she is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but she is also proficient with a katana and her order’s iconic war fans.
Naruto has battled against taijutsu masters, so taking on someone like Suki wouldn’t be that difficult, and seeing as she isn’t a bender, he doesn’t need to worry about any stray boulders flying his way. He’ll be able to block her attacks with ease, and he would only need to land one Kurama-enhanced punch to potentially break every bone in her body.
6 Toph Couldn’t Handle The Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu & Rasenshuriken
Toph is an extremely powerful and skilled earthbender who saved the day on multiple occasions, and she did all of this while being blind. She may have been blind, but she was still able to sense her opponent’s movements thanks to her seismic sense.

Toph can use this sense to anticipate her opponent’s attacks, but Naruto would completely overwhelm her seismic sense with his multi shadow clone jutsu. Even if she did wipe out every clone with her earthbending, he can leap into the air and fire a Rasenshuriken at her. She might be able to create an earth wall for defense, but the Rasenshuriken would cut straight through it.
5 Combustion Man’s Special Firebending Only Travels In A Straight Line, So Naruto Can Easily Dodge It
In Avatar’s third season, Zuko hired a firebending assassin to kill Aang— but this was no ordinary assassin. The assassin was given the nickname “Combustion Man” because he possessed a rare form of firebending called combustionbending, which allowed him to produce a beam of explosive energy.
The problem with this ability is the fact that the beam travels in a straight line, so a ninja like Naruto would be able to dodge it very easily. After dodging, Naruto can just fire a small tailed beast bomb in Combustion Man’s general direction, and it will wipe him out of existence.
4 The Fire Lord’s Flames Would Never Burn Through Naruto’s Kurama Chakra Mode
Prior to the end of the war, Firelord Ozai was believed to be the strongest firebender in the world— but the only reason why he almost defeated Aang is because his firebending was amplified by Sozin’s Comet.
Naruto was able to counter Amaterasu with his Kurama mode, and those were black flames that can burn actual fire— so Firelord Ozai’s fire wouldn’t do any real damage. Naruto can easily wipe out the Firelord with a tailed beast bomb, but he can also use several Water Release infused Rasenshuriken.
3 Mai Is A Talented Markswoman But She’s Never Faced A God-Level Ninja
Mai was the daughter of a Fire Nation governor, and although she wasn’t a bender, she was able to take down multiple benders at once thanks to her proficient marksmanship. As a ninja, Naruto is accustomed to dealing with ranged attacks but if he can handle god-level attacks, a couple of sharp shuriken knives and hand arrows won’t scare him.
If Naruto avoids her attacks, he can get in close and take advantage of Mai’s limited hand-to-hand skills. Naruto would be able to end her with one punch, and even if she were able to block his normal fists, he could just transform into Kurama and squash her like a bug with a tailed beast sized palm.
2 Piandao Wouldn’t Be Able To Defend Against Naruto’s Jutsu
Piandao is considered to be the greatest Fire Nation sword master and sword maker in history, and he is the man who trained both Zuko and Sokka. He may not be a bender, but Piandao’s sword skills allowed him to take on multiple firebenders who were enhanced by Sozin’s Comet.

He may be able to cut through various forms of bending, but his sword would be useless against Naruto’s jutsu. A simple Rasengan would be enough to shatter his blade, and if Naruto really wanted to toy with him, he could summon Gamabunta or Gamakichi who both wield colossal katanas.
1 Aang May Be The Avatar, But Even He Can’t Stop A Tailed Beast Bomb
By the end of the original series, Aang was clearly the strongest character, which makes sense seeing as he is the Avatar. Aang is capable of using all four elements, and when he enters the Avatar state, his mastery and focus both increase because he is tapping into the experience of all his past lives.
As strong as Aang is, though, Naruto can annihilate him in a single attack. Just one tailed beast bomb has enough destructive power to completely obliterate an entire small region, so Aang has no chance of defending against such an attack even if he does use the Avatar State.
