Jamie Carragher not impressed by Liverpool midfielder Thiago

Jamie Carragher has strongly criticised Liverpool midfielder Thiago on Twitter following the match against Leicester City.

Liverpool have suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Leicester away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.

Alisson was at fault for one of the goals yet again, and while Carragher was not impressed by the Brazilian’s performance, he also noted Thiago’s display.

The former Liverpool defender, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that Thiago is a “liability defensively”.

Thiago has had injury problems this season, but the Spain international central midfielder is now fit and playing regularly.

Against Leicester this afternoon, the former Bayern Munich star was far from great.

Thiago came on as an early substitute for James Milner and struggled with the pace of the game.

The former Barcelona star did not look great on the ball and struggled to do the defensive side of his game well.

According to WhoScored, Thiago had a pass accuracy of 95.6%, won two headers, took 64 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made three tackles and two interceptions.
