‘Stop it Bron’: Draymond Green in Awe of LeBron James’ Performance Against Grizzlies

Bron #Bron

The Los Angeles Lakers just extended their winning streak to seven. Holding the second position in the Western Conference, their 20-6 record has come after back-to-back overtime games – twice against Oklahoma City Thunder and once against the Detroit Pistons. And in all these games, if it wasn’t for LeBron James’ clutch buzzer-beaters, they would have lost.

LeBron is known for coming up big when it counts, and that’s exactly what he did playing against the Memphis Grizzlies. And once again, his shot in the dying seconds of the third quarter gave the Lakers a lead against the Memphis Grizzlies.

LeBron James does it again!

The Lakers have met the Grizzlies twice before in back-to-back games and won both those games. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, they didn’t have their star player Ja Morant then, who missed those games because of a sprained ankle.

However, their third matchup started with the Lakers trailing by a considerable number in the first quarter.

By the third quarter, the Lakers were ahead only by a bucket. And just when the buzzer was about to go off, Bron dropped another three and the score became 87-82.

Anthony Davis’ 35 point performance was also enough to silence Memphis. After that, the Lakers led through most of the game, and with a 115-105 score, the game was over.

Bron’s stellar last-minute performances are taking the internet by storm. After this step-back three at the Buzzer, Warriors’ Draymond Green also posted, “Stop it, Bron!”.

Another former NBA Champion, and a die-hard fan of LeBron, Kendrick Perkins wrote, “Year 18 and still snatching the screws out the damn rim!”

Ensuring the Lakers go for their second straight title

This is the first time in his career that Bron played three straight OT games. The small break they got between the last season and this, everyone thought Bron was going to be rested as much as possible for the playoffs to avoid any health concerns.

Although it looks like Bron is dedicated to playing as hard as he can to ensure the top seed in the playoffs. The purple and gold are right behind the Utah Jazz in the West. LeBron doesn’t want to give up his championship throne without a fight.

In fact, it seems more like they are headed to a second straight title. The Lakers need to make sure that they show more consistency and not lose easy games against average teams.

Bron won’t be able to save them every time. Which team do you think is the most capable of making things tougher for LeBron and the Lakers?
