Grant Shapps: ‘Too soon’ to start booking holidays

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has urged people to not book summer holidays.

He said no-one should be booking holidays either within the UK or internationally, saying “I simply don’t know the answer to the question of where we’ll be up to this summer.”

He said the prime minister planned to unveil how the UK would come out of lockdown on 22 February.
