Kemar Roofe, who has been hit with a charge from the Scottish FA for a challenge on St Johnstone’s Murray Davidson, is on the bench with Cedric Itten starting as the No.9, alongside Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent.

Meanwhile, Bongani Zungu has been handed his first Premiership start.

@J2807W: “No Roofe hahaha what’s the point”

@TrueBluesLoyal1: “Strong team today Zungu and Itten start love to see it.

@MarkHarvey83: “Surprised at both Itten and Zungu starting. Pleased though. Zungu needs to step up if he wants to stay beyond the summer.”

@lewiscursley98: “Itten perfect hat-trick inbound.”

@garryhood1872: “Roofe is just back from injury and has already suffered an injury on an artificial surface this season, I reckon that’s why he’s not started with him.”

@StephenLouch: “Zungu first goal from the outside of our box with a header. Trusting the South African Twitter comments loyal.”

@Ryan17ward: “Pretty much as I expected it to be except from Zungu who’s a surprise starter! Obviously worried about Jack and Davis’ fitness on the plastic park but good game for Zungu to start in and show what he can bring! Play Up The Glasgow Rangers! 3 points please!”

@gimmi_sum_mair: “Good to see Itten get his chance the day, he’s earned it. No sure of the midfield 3 tbh. A prefer Davis or Jack in there as Zungu has alot to prove. 3 points and up the road is what matters. Cumoan the Rangers”

@ScottWi1son: “Suspect Jack and roofe out the starting line up because of the plastic pitch, should be more than enough to win anyway, a quick goal will see us win 4-0 today”.

@bkerr72: “Full back 4 on the bench. Looks like a 4-2-3-1 to get Aribo further up the park. Zungu has to take his chance today he has looked good at times when he’s played he was excellent in Poznan for example but not really able to judge on sub appearances.”

@SirCairns: “South African Facebook has told me Zungu can score from his own throw in. Looking forward to it”
