Chelsea player ratings vs Leicester: Havertz struggles again as pressure grows on Lampard

Matteo Kovacic – 4

Had a few nice passes, but didn’t appear to create any link between the midfield and the front three.

Mason Mount – 4

Showed a lot of effort, and had to drop deep at times just to collect the ball and try to make things happen.

Kai Havertz – 4

Havertz was booked and put in a poor performance in his first start in the league in over a month. Looks a shell of his former self and badly needs confidence, was taken off for Timo Werner after the hour mark.

Christian Pulisic – 5

Showed flashes of his talent, but often held onto the ball for just a second or two too long and was dispossessed.

Callum Hudson-Odoi – 4

Didn’t offer enough going forward and never really threatened the Leicester City goal. Substituted for Hakim Ziyech just after the hour mark.

Tammy Abraham – 4

Seemed starved of chances at times. Didn’t have a lot of opportunities to make a difference or have any real impact on the game.
