Like most younger siblings, Elizabeth Olsen always wanted to do what her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley were doing.

On Monday, the actress joined SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show where she discussed her sisters’ early boho-chic style and how she tried to copy the trend herself.

Asked by co-host Julia Cunningham if Elizabeth if was ever “swept up” into the “mass phenomenon” that was her sisters’ style, the actress immediately said she has always wanted the same clothes as the twins.

“Everything my sisters have ever worn in my entire life I have wanted to wear still as an adult today. I want their coats. I want their shoes. I want their dresses,” she admitted. “And that is something that I never grew out of.”

The WandaVision star explained that she would constantly visit secondhand stores to try and find similar clothes to her sisters, both 34.

“And so during that time, I myself was just going through every secondhand store and wearing all of, all of the things, except mine became more like Annie Hall-y,” she said.

Elizabeth, 31, went on to admit that she didn’t wash the clothes after buying them from the thrift shops.

“It was all just like a lot of clothes that I didn’t even wash them after I got them,” she shared. “I just wore them. I guess it’s like, and now I’m just like mortified of like, you know, where were those clothes like most of them are like thrown into trash bags and thrown into bins and, and I would just not wash them. “

Still, the actress said there were many things that made her feel unique from her sisters, for example, her love for theater.

“My sisters didn’t love being on like live theater. They didn’t love live audiences. They were pretty shy and it made them nervous,” she explained.

“I was the one that was like made everyone come to see me perform a musical that we made within two weeks and they had to see three of them every summer,” Elizabeth continued. “They have to go to every dance performance…it was always unique to me that I loved theater and dancing and singing.”

She said that having this differing interest made her feel like she could pave her own way in life.

“It never felt like a following for me because it always felt like it was my path,” she added.
