The Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens will meet in the Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs after both teams emerged victorious in very different ways in Week 17.
For the Ravens, it was easy going on Sunday, as they trampled the Cincinnati Bengals, 38-3. On the flip side, the Titans got everything they could handle from the Houston Texans but were able to pull out a road win thanks to a last-second field goal by rookie kicker, Sam Sloman.
Shortly after the conclusion of Tennessee’s game, it was revealed that the Titans and Ravens will meet on Sunday, January 10, with kickoff set for 12:05 p.m. CT at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Here’s a look at the entire playoff schedule for next weekend:
This will be the third meeting between the Ravens and Titans in the past two seasons, and the 26th all-time (including playoffs). Tennessee and Baltimore have split all four postseason meetings, but the Titans got the better of the Ravens in last year’s playoffs, winning 28-12 in the Divisional Round.
These two teams also met in Week 11 of this season in a game that saw the Titans win in overtime, 30-24.
Interestingly enough, the last time the Titans won the AFC South (2008) it was the Ravens who knocked them out of the playoffs in the Divisional Round.
