That was a big quarter from Sydney, but it could have been bigger! Errol Gulden set up Joel Amartey in the final 30 seconds, he marked inside 50, but he wandered in as the kick trailed off to the right.

It’s 18 points to the Swans at the break, and those late goals to Collingwood are vital to keep the home side in the contest.

Are we seeing a trend here for Collingwood in the first couple of games? Nick Daicos is head and shoulders the best on ground (22 disposals, five clearances, one goal) – but he’s only one man. He needs help.

The Swans are getting more from Isaac Heeney (16 touches), Chad Warner (15) and James Rowbottom (11) … and their possessions are setting up the marks inside 50 (nine for the Swans to just two for Collingwood).

Are we on for another cracking half of footy? Will the Pies hit back? Stay with us to find out.
