Guests Swanson and Gompper to Present March 2 February 27, 2024

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University School of Music will present a Guest Recital featuring baritone Stephen Swanson and pianist David Gompper at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.

The performance, titled “Swansongs: The Final Recital,” will celebrate Swanson’s retirement as professor of Voice at the University of Iowa. Gompper is a professor of Composition and director of the Center for New Music at the University of Iowa and was recently named interim director of orchestra.
