Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is tired of the trade rumors and criticism.

So Brown called into 94 WIP’s afternoon show on Friday to clear things up.

“I want to be [with the Eagles]. It’s as simple as that,” Brown said on 94WIP.

Some have speculated Brown’s relationship with quarterback Jalen Hurts has soured.

When he was asked about the rumor, Brown quickly shut it down.

“I think that is BS,” Brown said. “I’m not going to get into our relationship on the air…it wasn’t a problem when I was on my six-game streak. They only started talking about that when we started losing.”

In Week 2, Brown argued with Hurts on the sidelines during their win against the Vikings.

This wasn’t the only time Brown seemed frustrated in 2023.

After the Eagles beat the Giants on Christmas, Brown didn’t speak with reporters for over a week because he had “nothing nice to say.”

Brown believes people judge him on a few moments and don’t give him enough credit for his leadership skills.

“I’m the person you need on this team because I am willing to hold people accountable, make people around me better,” Brown said. “But nobody sees that. All you see is the little flare ups…Nobody in that building works harder than me, I can stand on that and say that.”

Brown said his X account was hacked during the Super Bowl, but he put out the most recent tweet.

“Philly media is so lame,” Brown tweeted. “It’s literally something everyday. Then the fans be believe the bs. They really should start raising the prices of microphones and cameras because you people will say anything for views. I see why nobody likes us because we don’t even like us. #RealityTV.”

Brown wanted to clarify one more thing.

“The locker room is fine… Players just weren’t executing….Media ran with the coaches, blame the coaches….I’m not going to blame the coaches. It was the players not executing.”
