Walmart customer buys flowers for cashier after hearing she wouldn’t get any for Valentine’s Day

(Gray News) – A sweet gesture for a Walmart cashier on Valentine’s Day is going viral.
Devon Wardlow, a popular YouTuber and Instagram influencer, was standing in the checkout line at a Walmart store on Feb. 13 when he overheard the cashier’s conversation with a customer in front of him.
Wardlow heard the cashier say she planned to buy herself flowers for Valentine’s Day because no one else would be buying her any.
So Wardlow says he left the line to pick up an extra bouquet of roses to give to the cashier.
The video posted on Instagram shows Wardlow getting back in line and checking out.
After paying for the roses, he surprises the Walmart employee by saying, “These are for you. Happy Valentine’s Day!”
The cashier, who is off camera, can be heard saying thank you.
Instagram users are commending Wardlow for such a kind gesture.
“Now that’s a great man, who’s ever with him better hold on to him. He’s a keeper,” one user wrote.
