Sunday is sunny and breezy to end off the weekend

Good Sunday #GoodSunday

Sunday will be a cold and icy morning in some spots so careful on the roads if you want to travel out to morning church services. High pressure will continue to build in, allowing clouds to go from partly sunny to mostly sunny by dinnertime, and helping temperatures get near 40 degrees. It will be a breezy day, with wind gusts of at least 20 mph in the lowlands and 30 mph in the higher terrain, a good bet at times.

Monday looks to be a great start to next week, once we get passed the morning with temperatures in the 20s. We’ll eventually see those temperatures rise into the 40s thanks to high pressure nearby. Combine that with mostly sunny skies, any outdoor activities look to be in good shape.

Tuesday continues the trend set on Monday with another awesome weather day. Despite another morning where you may want a coat with temperatures in the 20s, afternoon highs will soar into the 50s as we enjoy another mostly sunny forecast.

Wednesday will be a decent start in the morning as we start off with partly sunny conditions. Throughout the day, we’ll see clouds increase as we head into the overnight hours and chance for a late-night stray shower or two. Despite the increased clouds, temperatures will make it back into the 50s once again!

Thursday looks gloomy with mostly cloudy skies. The morning commute won’t be too bad with the chance for an isolated shower or two. During the second half, however, showers will become more widespread as a low pressure system moves eastward. Not the best end to your Thursday, but at least we enjoy temperatures in the 50s again!

Friday morning starts off with scattered showers so don’t forget to pack something to keep yourself dry. We’ll catch a brief break during the afternoon but soon, northwest winds will move in, bringing in colder temperatures and the chance for some snowflakes Friday night into Saturday.

In your extended forecast, the chance for some flurries looks possible on Saturday before clearing up into Sunday. We’ll also see some sunshine as we end off next weekends forecast but temperatures will be cooler in the 40s and 30s. This dry trend looks to extend into next Monday and Tuesday as temperatures get back into the 40s and 50s.
