Mariah Carey Goes on a Heartwarming Mother-Son Date with Moroccan & The Pictures Are So Sweet

Mariah #Mariah

Romance was in the air yesterday, but Mariah Carey was focused on a different kind of love: the bond she has with her 12-year-old son Moroccan “Roc.” The “It’s a Wrap” singer shared the most precious photos of a mother-son date she had with her pre-teen on Valentine’s Day, and it’s such a proud boy mom moment!

“My funny Valentine 💕💕💕,” Carey captioned the post on Instagram. She is wearing a red sweater in the photo, with her curly blonde hair falling over her shoulder. Carey sits at a booth in a restaurant with her son cuddled up next to her, kissing his mama on the cheek. Roc also holds a giant red heart balloon that says, “Love you.” Could these two be any cuter?!

Slide 2 is another picture of Carey and Roc. This time, they are both smiling for the camera, Carey with Chanel earmuffs over her ears and a jacket slung over her shoulder, and Roc in a black hoodie. They sit at the red booth, with red flower petals on the table in front of them, and it looks like the most magical night.

“Roc stand 10 toes DOWN for his mama!!” one person commented on the cute photos. Someone else mentioned her bond with Roc and his twin sister Monroe “Roe.” “What a pure, eternal love you have with Roc and Roe. Nothing elusive about that! ❤” they wrote.

Tyra Banks commented, “Mama 👏.” Kris Jenner wrote, ❤❤❤❤.”

Nick Cannon, who shares Roc and Roe with Carey (as well as 10 other children with five other women), commented, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Growing Up

The twins have helped Carey with her work campaigns and even went on tour with her over the holidays. At the end of the day, she just really enjoys hanging out with them.

In an Oct. 2023 interview with PEOPLE, the Grammy winner opened up about watching her twins grow up, which she called “really beautiful.”

“They’re good, nice kids,” she continued. “They’re kind-hearted people, and I really enjoy being around them and watching them grow up into the people that they’re ultimately going to become.”

They are lucky to have her for a mom!
