The Nets on Thursday traded veteran guard Spencer Dinwiddie to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Dennis Schröder and Thad Young, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Dinwiddie, 30, is averaging 12.6 points for the Nets but has become less of a focal point of the offense with the emergence of Cam Thomas and the continued strong play of Mikal Bridges.

The 6-1 Schröder, 30, averages 13.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. He is well-traveled, having previously played for the Hawks, Thunder, Celtics, Rockets and Lakers.

The 6-8 Young, 35, averages 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds. He previously played in Brooklyn from 2015-16, and provides some frontcourt depth for a team dealing with injuries to Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle sprain) and Day’Ron Sharpe (left knee hyperextension).

In a separate deal, the Nets dealt Royce O’Neale to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for salaries and three second-round picks, per The Athletic.

The Nets (20-30) are the 11th seed in the East at the moment.
