In Kota city, a three-and-a-half-ft crocodile was spotted on Commerce College main road, surprising passersby and causing a stir. The reptile gracefully crossed the road, captivating onlookers, some of whom recorded the incident and shared it widely on social media. The city’s proximity to the Chambal River, home to a ghariyal sanctuary, leads crocodiles to venture onto land during the monsoon and sometimes into residential areas. Last year alone, Kota witnessed around 50-60 crocodile appearances, with 57 incidents reported in residential localities, making such sightings relatively common.#crocodile #rajasthan #crocodiles #kota #rajasthannews #ytshorts #shorts Subscribe to The Times of India’s YouTube channel: http://goo.gl/WgIatuFor daily news & updates and exclusive stories, follow the Times of IndiaFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TimesofIndiaInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/timesofindia/Download the app: http://toi.in/3SLUCa80Follow TOI+ for well-researched and in-depth news and analysisFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/timesofindiaplusTwitter:https://twitter.com/TOIPlusInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/toi_plus/
