Man in critical condition after two-car crash on Hume Freeway in Wodonga, Victoria

A serious crash that left a man in a critical condition on Wednesday morning has led to all lanes heading north being closed on a Victorian freeway.
Two cars collided on the Hume Fwy near Bandiana Link Rd in Wodonga just before 6am, with the impact forcing one of the vehicles into a barrier.
The male driver was taken to hospital in a critical condition and the other driver, a man aged in his 60s, was also taken to hospital in a stable condition.

All northbound lanes of the Hume Fwy are closed between High St and Bandiana Link due to the crash.
All traffic heading from Victoria into NSW will be directed to exit the freeway and use Lincoln Causeway.
Drivers have been urged to allow extra time in the area.
Police are investigating the crash, with witnesses urged to get in contact.
