Chiefs #Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and 12-time Grammy Award-winning musician Taylor Swift celebrated on the field together after the Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to advance to Super Bowl 58, winning by the final score of 17-10.

Kelce and Swift have been in a highly publicized relationship, with the superstar singer frequently showing up to games and supporting the team throughout the 2023 season. Kelce finished Sunday’s game with 11 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown, helping Kansas City gain an early 7-0 lead.

With Swift’s impending arrival in Baltimore to watch the game, Ravens fans have been leaning into the playful off-field rivalry. This included a mural that depicted the musician wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Although the relationship between Swift and Kelce has become a major storyline throughout the year, it hasn’t impacted the Chiefs’ locker room in any negative way.

“At first, I felt like everybody kind of stayed away, just let [Kelce] do what he was doing” quarterback Patrick Mahomes said in a Dec. 22 interview, per TMZ Sports. “Then, he started bringing Taylor around and you realized how cool of a person she was. So for us, there was a couple of jokes here and there at the beginning, but she’s just part of Chiefs kingdom now. She’s part of the team.”

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport revealed that Swift plans on attending the Super Bowl to watch Kelce, even though she’ll have a concert in Japan the night before.
