Dani Ceballos says Arsenal will look to right their wrongs through ‘teamwork’ and with a ‘united’ front as it’s the very least the players owe their supporters after a dismal start to the season.
The Gunners have lost four of their last eight matches in all competitions and Mikel Arteta is under intense scrutiny following the side’s 1-0 defeat at home to Burnley, arguably their lowest moment of the campaign thus far.
The result leaves Arsenal languishing down in 15th place in the Premier League table – just five points above the relegation zone – and the pressure will be on when the north London outfit play host to Southampton on Wednesday.

Ceballos came on for the final 30 minutes of Arsenal’s defeat at the Emirates at the weekend weekend, shortly after Granit Xhaka’s sending off, and the Spain international will be desperate for a place in Arteta’s starting XI versus the Saints.

Reflecting on the club’s poor run of results on his Twitter page, the Real Madrid loanee promised that Arsenal players would ‘give all we got’ to turn their season around, starting tomorrow evening.
‘We’ll go through this together, united in teamwork,’ the midfielder tweeted.
‘We owe this to our supporters and we’ll give all we got!
‘We’re Gunners!’
Ceballos’ comments were echoed by Arsenal defender Gabriel, who posted a similar message on his Instagram page about the team’s togethernesson Tuesday evening.
‘Together we will go again,’ the Brazilian said.
Under-fire head coach Arteta brushed off suggestions that Arsenal were currently in relegation form at his press conference on Tuesday and insisted the club were merely experiencing a ‘blip.
‘I would say that we are in a blip and the way we are losing football matches makes me believe that,’ he said.
‘But we need to start to win, because if not, you start dropping and dropping in the table and obviously that is not the situation that we want to be in.’

The Spaniard added: ‘When you’re not getting results at the end of the day it’s the manager who has the maximum responsibility to get them.
‘This football club is too big to accept this many losses in the past few weeks.
‘My chest is here so hit me guys!’

Arteta defended Xhaka and stressed that the Swiss was not the only player to make a ‘mistake’ this term.
‘It’s been resolved internally and that’s all I can say,’ he went on.
‘He’s not the only player who has had rocky moments.
‘I know the reason why [he got sent off] and what I cannot do is throw everything away because he made a mistake.’
