Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj Go Back-And-Forth As “Hiss” Diss Sets Off Fiery Feud
Hiss #Hiss
Another feud in the rap world has been ignited and this time, Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj are in the middle of the fire. The Houston Hottie released her latest single “Hiss” on Friday (Jan. 26), where she seemingly sent a shot at the Queens rap veteran and her husband.
“These h*es don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start,” Megan spit. Megan’s Law is a federal law in the United States that requires law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders.
Fans immediately assumed this was a shot at Minaj because her husband, Kenneth Petty, is a registered sex offender after pleading guilty at age 16 to attempted rape. Take a listen to the new track below.
The “Super Bass” rapper wasting no time fighting back, as she hopped on Instagram Live to play a snippet of a new song containing a diss for Megan. “Bad b**ch she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b**ch fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” she raps on the track. The bar is likely a reference to the July 2020 shooting by Tory Lanez that left the “Big Ole Freak” artist’s foot wounded.
The back-and-forth didn’t stop there. Minaj took to X to further mock Thee Stallion as she uploaded a photo of her pristinely manicured feet. The latter chose to respond on her Instagram Stories by posting a photo of herself laughing.
Mixed reactions started pouring in, with some fans disappointed with the exchange and others impressed with how fast the response came. “Nicki is in her 40’s she should be empowering the younger generation not bringing them down,” reads one of the top comments under DJ Akademik’s post about the ordeal.
On X, another user wrote, “Let us also acknowledge Nicki pen work fast, cause I’m ngl she ain’t even have much time to be mad fr. Sister heard ‘megan’s law’ and that pen started levitating.”
