Allen will be between the pipes for Tuesday’s home clash against Ottawa.
Allen has played in just four of the Habs’ last 16 contests but could get more opportunities ahead of the NHL trade deadline as the team is expected to shop the veteran backstop. On the year, Allen is 5-8-2 with a 3.49 GAA and .901 save percentage in 15 contests.
