There’s nothing like a playoff victory Monday.

Just ask Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, who commemorated Kansas City’s 26-7 wild-card win over the Dolphins this past weekend with a celebratory Instagram post.

“Playoff Victory Monday hits different,” Hunt began.

“I’m always amazed by the @chiefs fan base. Chiefs Kingdom is so special. Thank you for showing up and braving the cold this weekend. You’re the real MVPs!”

Saturday’s wild-card matchup between the Chiefs and Dolphins — which was streamed exclusively on Peacock aside from local affiliates — set the record for the most-streamed live event in United States history.

The postseason contest at Arrowhead Stadium was also the fourth-coldest game in NFL history at minus-4 degrees Fahrenheit, with wind gusts creating a wind chill of minus-27 degrees.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes also kept warm at frigid Arrowhead Stadium on Jan. 13, 2024. Brittany Mahomes/Instagram Gracie Hunt spent time with Taylor Swift during the Chiefs’ regular season in 2023. Gracie Hunt/Instagram

Hunt bundled up in a Ramy Brook ensemble for the game, while the newest addition to Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift, rocked a custom No. 87 jacket in honor of her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift twinned with new pal Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as both wore designs from Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

The Chiefs, who finished the regular season at 11-6, are looking to defend their Super Bowl title after they topped the Eagles in the championship contest last February.

Kansas City will learn its divisional round fate Monday when the Bills host the Steelers in their wild-card matchup, which was postponed from Sunday due to a massive winter storm pounding the Buffalo area.

Should the Bills defeat the Steelers, the Chiefs will then travel to Western New York in what would be Mahomes’ first road playoff game.

If the Steelers secure the upset, Pittsburgh will then visit the top-seeded Ravens and the Chiefs will host the Texans, who blew out the Browns on Saturday, 45-14.
