Opposition frontbencher supports call to boycott Woolworths over Australia Day merchandise

Opposition frontbencher and member for Deakin Michael Sukkar has backed calls from Liberal leader Peter Dutton to boycott Woolworths over the decision not to sell Australia Day merchandise.

Mr Sukkar told Richard Willingham on ABC Radio Melbourne Mornings Woolworths is “clearly” making a political statement, but stopped short of supporting a boycott of other brands who have made the same decision.

Also the Shadow Minister for NDIS, Mr Sukkar addressed the issue of cuts to 24/7 registered nurses in special needs homes.
