Watch: Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb ties Michael Irvin record with 92-yard TD grab vs. Lions

CeeDee Lamb now holds the record for most catches in a single season in Cowboys history. A turnover may be the most memorable part of that play.
The Cowboys receiver originally tied Michael Irvin’s mark of 111 catches with a 92-yard touchdown grab during the first quarter of Saturday’s matchup with the Lions. Dak Prescott evaded a few rushers near his own end zone before uncorking a pass toward his top target.
The 92-yard catch was the longest of Lamb’s career and the second-longest in Cowboys franchise history. Bob Hayes holds the record, reeling in a 95-yard catch against Washington on Nov. 13, 1966.

Lamb took over the franchise record for single-season receptions, notching his 112th catch of the campaign in the second quarter. The catch also included a goal-line fumble from Lamb that bounced out of the end zone and resulted in a touchback, giving Detroit possession.
