Bo Nickal, Joe Rogan clowned on social media after Trump-Biden cognitive decline mix-up

Bo Nickal doesn’t take many losses, but it’s hard to say the former Penn State wrestling champ turned UFC star isn’t taking one after his appearance Thursday on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.”

At least he is taking a pretty good beating on social media after Rogan led him down a rabbit hole that had a brutal twist for the both of them that they finished off with what some are saying was a bit of a hypocritical reaction.

Turns out, Nickal is apparently a Donald Trump fan and he and Rogan were having a good laugh while discussing the supposed cognitive decline of current President Joe Biden.

“There’s people that voted for Biden that are doing it now, they’re like, ‘What did I do? What did I choose?’” Rogan says.

“You just can’t listen to an interview where he’s saying some of the stuff he says that just makes no sense at all,” Nickal responded. “You can’t listen to those interviews and feel like you’ve made a good decision.”

“Did you hear what he said a couple days ago?” Rogan asked Nickal.

“He was talking about the Revolutionary War,” Rogan said as he appeared to somewhat slur his speech. “He said, ‘One of the problems with the Revolutionary War is they didn’t have enough airports.”

Nickal breaks out in laugher. Rogan raises his eyebrow.

Rogan continued explaining that Biden should be taken out of office for the comment.

“Like pull him,” he said. “It’s crazy. If you had any other job and you were talking like that, ‘They’d go, ‘Hey, you’re done.’”

“If you talked like that to a doctor before your fight, they’d be like, ‘OK, obviously you’re not fighting,’” Nickal chimed in. “Also here is eight weeks of being helped out by a professional.

“It’s one of the wildest things ever.”

It was brutal for both of them.

Wondering why?

Well, just moments later, Rogan pulled up the video of Biden talking about those airports in the Revolutionary War only for one of the workers on the show to point out to him and Nickal that Biden was actually quoting a Donald Trump speech from back in 2020 — not days ago — in which the former president referenced airports in the Revolutionary War.

He and Nickal then watched Trump’s speech and quickly decided what they had just spent several minutes using to highlight supposed mental decline that should be disqualifying for Biden was instead just a slip up for Trump.

“Oh, OK,” Rogan says as he watches the clip. “So he (expletive) up.”

“You can tell too, it sounds like … a little different,” Nickal said. “He kind of messed up his voice.”

Nickal shared the podcast to his X, formerly Twitter page, and several responses were far from kind.

“Loved the part of the podcast where you don’t know what you’re on about and get fact checked,” one person responded.

“And then he blamed others for his stupidity,” another person wrote with laughing and clown emojis.

It got worse.

“You made yourself look like a low iq mouth breather,” another person wrote. “Hopefully your son got his mom’s brain.”

“If Trump is there, maybe ask him about those airports,” another person responded to a post about his upcoming fight and his haters.

“Don’t need to be a hater to realize you shouldn’t be bragging about that podcast appearance, my dude,” another person responded. “Going viral for all the wrong reasons.”

Nickal has yet to address the backlash.
