Rangers player ratings as Glen Kamara oozes class on a night of top marks
Hagi #Hagi
Twenty-six games, no losses – one top of the group finish.
Yes, Rangers raced into the Europa League League last 32 as one of the 16 seeded teams with another win.
Steven Gerrard’s side swept aside Lech Poznan with a 2-0 victory – as Cedric Itten and Ianis Hagi on target.
Here are our player ratings after another fine performance and result from the Ibrox giants…
JON McLAUGHLIN
First European start for the keeper and got his eye in straight away with a smart early save. Not overworked and did well claiming a couple of crosses and making a save from a free kick after the break – 7

Massive night, coming in for James Tavernier and making only his second top team start and he did a fine job. Kept it simple and didn’t attack as much as the skipper but was solid and did get in a couple of good crosses – 7
CONNOR GOLDSON
Mr Reliable was captain for the night and glued the defence together, winning his headers when needed and starting play from the back. Kept dangerman Ishak quiet – 7
LEON BALOGUN
Another impressive display with a couple of excellent headers in his own box and dovetailing really well with Goldson. Strolled it – 7
BORNA BARISIC
After a quiet start, began to motor down the left in his usual fashion with a number of dangerous deliveries causing discomfort to the Polish defence and his free kick led to second goal – 7
SCOTT ARFIELD
Another excellent night combining chasing and harassing with supplementing attacks and also keeping a watchful eye on young Patterson behind him – 8
BONGANI ZUNGU
South African midfielder was given the chance to impress as the midfield anchor and apart from one sloppy early pass, did the job quietly and effectively, hoovering up most signs of danger – 7

GLEN KAMARA
Another classy display from the Finn, whose touch and ability to glide away from challenges was a joy to watch. Linked the defence and attack seamlessly – 8
IANIS HAGI
Has been operating on the fringes of late but given an opportunity to shine as part of a three-pronged attack and was unlucky not to score with deflected shot before nodding home the second goal – 7
CEDRIC ITTEN
The striker hasn’t had much game time but this was a big chance to lead the line and he more than took his opportunity with a sensational strike for the opening goal and worked tirelessly up front – 8
JOE ARIBO
Grew into the game after a quietish opening spell and popped up either side of Itten to cause problems with his close control and eye for a pass – 7
