One of the National Hockey League’s top goal scorers this season appears to be seriously hurt.

On Sunday night, Winnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor was injured when he was the victim of a knee on knee hit courtesy of Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Strome. Connor was cutting in front of the Ducks net on a scoring chance when Strome extended his leg and stopped Connor dead in his tracks with a devastating knee on knee.

Connor was immediately in pain and would remain curled up in the Ducks crease for several moments before eventually being helped off the ice. Although there has been no update on Connor at this time, things certainly did not look good based on his body language.

Update: To no one’s surprise, Connor has now officially been ruled out of what remains of tonight’s game.
