Browns, Joe Flacco solid in first half, defense has been revived – Terry Pluto’s Halftime Scribbles

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Scribbles in my notebook as the Browns lead Jacksonville, 14-7, at the half:

1. Coach Kevin Stefanski had a sensational first series when it came to play calling. The Browns went 75 yards in six plays, ending with a 34-yard TD pass to a wide open David Njoku. QB Joe Flacco completed all four of his passes on the first drive. He threw a pair of 8-yarders to Jerome Ford. He also hit Cedric Tillman for 14 yards.
