Tupac Shakur was found holding two guns with “f**k the world” written on his head in black marker, contemplating suicide, two years prior to his untimely murder.
When his mother, aunt, and a family friend found the rapper, he was holding a shotgun and a .45 millimeter. Luckily, his mother was able to talk him down and away from the plan he had devised. “Tupac had planned it all out in macabre detail,” Tupac Shakur The Authorized Biography by Staci Robinson explained.
His official plan was reportedly to have someone drive him out to the woods where he would share a final blunt with friends. Thereafter, he allegedly hoped he would be left there with a shotgun to take his life. The new book walks fans through some of the lesser known aspects of Tupac’s life, all of which is approved by his official estate. As a part of his story, Staci described this time when Tupac was in a much darker place.

Tupac is reported to have said: “And when it happens, don’t let them touch my body. I don’t want them touchin’ my body. Y’all take my body.”
Leading up to the suicidal ideation, Tupac was convicted for sexually assaulting a fan, despite insisting he did not commit the crime. Plus, he was actively recovering from gun shot wounds. Staci told The Sun: “I think this was extremely important to include as I wanted to show the depths of despair that Tupac faced as he was recovering from bullet wounds and facing possible prison time.”

Staci explained that Tupac was looking for a way out of the situation. He was stuck between turning himself in or running away, but ending his life would bring the situation to a halt. Tupac wasn’t making this decision on his own, he was actively campaigning his family to be on his side and support it. His aunt said in the book: “It was like he was directing a movie. He was not morbid at all.”
Ultimately, Tupac went and turned himself into the authorities under the guidance of his mother. Speaking out the incident himself later, he said: “I just all around felt suicidal. But I couldn’t kill myself. I just wanted somebody to kill me for me.”
