THOMASVILLE- Nearly three years ago, Fallin’s Barbecue closed their all- you- can- eat salad bar as a safety precaution during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, customers have been begging owners Jon and Deanna Fallin to bring it back. On Monday, all their wishes finally came true.

Following the pandemic, Fallin’s reopened their dining room, but left the salad bar untouchable to customers, allowing only staff to fix and prepare salads for diners. While understandable, customers missed the all-you-can-eat option and the ability to make their own plates.

After months of hearing their pleas, Fallin’s took to social media, telling customers if their post got 500 likes and 100 comments, they would think about bringing back the salad bar.

Jon and Deanna were shocked with the amount of attention the post received, as it surpassed the 500 likes and 100 comments, garnering over 70 shares.

After much discussion, Jon and Deanna went to work on a relaunch plan for the salad bar and their menu.

Deanna officially announced the relaunch of the salad bar in a social media video, which drew even more attention, causing customers to honk in delight as they drove by.

On Monday, customers finally were able to enjoy their all-you-can-eat salad bar again, as Jon, Deanna and their team held a mock ribbon cutting for the reopening.

The salad bar features all the fixings, along with house-made dressings and fresh produce.

It didn’t take long for customers to begin enjoying their salads once again as they began piling in right at 11 a.m.
