‘Galactic Federation’ of Aliens Working With U.S. and Israel Sparks Galaxy of Memes, Jokes

A “Galactic Federation” of aliens has been in contact with the U.S. and Israel for years, but humanity isn’t ready to know, according to former Israeli space security chief Haim Eshed.

Eshed, who was the head of Israel’s space security program for nearly 30 years, told Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot that the cooperation between the U.S. and the Galactic Federation includes an underground base on Mars. He added that President Donald Trump is aware of the aliens and was close to revealing the truth.

However, according to Eshed, the Galactic Federation prevented Trump from revealing their existence to prevent hysteria, as humanity is not ready.

The news of an alien federation and the notion that Earth is not ready to join the club has sparked a wave of memes on social media, with many Twitter users joking about the state of the world and what the supposed aliens must think of us.

Twitter user @kennsyn said: “humans: can we meet the aliens yet/the galactic federation:” An image of John Mulaney, captioned: “Not unless everyone gets real cool about a bunch of stuff really quickly.”

Ethan Carpenter said: “Earth: ‘Can we join the Galactic Federation?’/The Galactic Federation:” and posted the meme of girls looking disgusted at someone at a party, but edited to look like aliens, with purple and green skin.

Twitter user @XCortal said: “Galactic Federation: exists/Humans: think we could maybe…(Pleading face)/Galactic Federation:” with a GIF of Danny DeVito shaking his head and saying nope.

Another Twitter user said: “Me sending signals to the Galactic Federation to take me with them” and attached a video of a guy dancing with sparkler fireworks.

The same user as above also tweeted: “BREAKING: Alien from the Galactic Federation caught on camera after some tequila shots” and attached a video of someone dressed as an alien dancing in the street.

Christoper on Twitter said: “the aliens in the galactic federation checking in on earth once a week to see if we’re ready to join yet” and attached a GIF of Kris Jenner closing a laptop.

Another Twitter user joked: “Us: ‘WhAt’S nExT iN 2020, aLIeNs lOl?’/ December: Galactic Federation/Us:”

Alessandro said: “The Galactic Federation just watching the earth destroy itself” with an image of Dan Levy as David Rose in Schitt’s Creek captioned: “Poor thing is a hot mess.”

Steve said: “This the mf the Galactic Federation sent to spy on us,” with an image of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg.

Charlotte Clymer described Earth as the boonies in the eyes of the aliens and then said: “The Galactic Federation makes jokes about the Earth like we make jokes about Florida.”

However, some social media users are skeptical about the existence of a Galactic Federation, purely because they cannot believe that Trump has not tweeted about it yet.

Twitter user @bluezy_chu said: “the galactic federation story isn’t believable because how could they convince trump not to say something.”
