Strictly: Anton ‘didn’t care’ how Angela’s dance went

Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced that Anton Du Beke made a ‘telling’ Angela Rippon remark amid ‘fix’ claims.

During the latest episode, which is Blackpool week, Angela, 79, and Kai Widdrington performed an American Smooth to Tea for Two by Ella Fitzgerald. During the feedback, Anton, 57, who praised the routine, said: “I almost didn’t really care how it went!”

It comes as fans expressed their anger last week claiming that the judges’ decision to save Angela following the dance-off was a “fix”. Angela and her professional dance partner, Kai, were saved over Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley by three out of four judges. Fans claimed that the judges kept Angela in just for Blackpool week due to her heritage of hosting Come Dancing.
