Kaleb Cooper has given an insight into the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime, as he spoke about the exciting new developments on Diddly Squat Farm.
The local farmer Kaleb, who helps former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson manage his farmland out in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, lifted the lid on season three.
Speaking to The One Show’s Alex Jones, who was sitting in for Claudia Winkleman on BBC Radio 2 last weekend, Kaleb was quizzed on the popular farming show.
Alex asked Kaleb about the third series, to which he replied: “I can’t say too much because I’ll be told off.
“But the farm is still going presumably,” Alex probed, to which he responded: “Oh yeah it’s still going, Jeremy’s got some pigs this year; he’s also bought goats.
“Which are basically like sheep aren’t they?” Kaleb continued incredulously. “And I hate sheep.”
Kaleb then went on to reluctantly compliment Jeremy, as he spoke more about his work on the new series.
“But the pigs are really good and, annoyingly, he’s a really good pig farmer,” Kaleb admitted.
“It hurts to say that, but he’s actually a good pig farmer,” pretending to be in pain, he continued: “I need to stop saying it! It’s hurting.
“But yeah he’s picked up to it. I wouldn’t say better than me, but he’s good at looking after pigs.
Alex then pointed out that Jeremy clearly has a passion for farming, which comes across very clearly on the show.
Kaleb agreed that it was a job that a person could totally enjoy, reiterating: “Farming is a way of life.”
Listen to Claudia Winkleman at 10am every Saturday on BBC Radio 2.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
