Morning Drive Forecast for Monday, October 23

Good Monday #GoodMonday

Good Monday morning! We are starting out with frost, which also means you may need to do some ice scraping if you park outside. Temperatures this morning are in the lower to middle 30s. With a mix of the sun and clouds and a southwest wind, temperatures will warm to near 60 this afternoon. Skies will continue to have lots of clouds with some breaks this evening. Overnight lows will stay in the lower 50s.

Tuesday will be the warmest day of the week! We don’t just hit 70 degrees on Tuesday… we will likely see temperatures soar into the mid-70s by the afternoon! Skies will still be a mix of the sun and clouds.

Moisture returns for Wednesday through Friday, with highs in the 60s and 70s, and good chances of rain as a front pushes in. This boundary stalls to our west, which means we have several days of chances for showers, but it won’t be all day rain. However, due to the discrepancies in the data, the confidence in the end-of-the-week forecast is not super high just yet. We know that temperatures will eventually come falling down… likely by the end of October heading into November, but the exact timing is still in question.

High temperatures will cool to the low 50s as we enter next weekend with isolated showers possible Saturday and more widespread rain likely on Sunday. This is the final push of the boundary that drops our temperatures right in time for Halloween.
