Big Brother crowds shouting ‘get kerry out’

Big Brother’s second live eviction descended into chaos as the audience could be heard shouting “get Kerry out”.

Friday night’s live show saw model Zak become the second housemate to be evicted from the 2023 series. He was up against food writer Henry, 25, in the public vote. It comes after the two housemates received the most nominations from their fellow co-stars on Wednesday night. Zak received five nominations from Hallie, Kerry, Chanelle, Jenkin and Henry while Henry received four nominations from Dylan, Olivia, Noky and Jenkin.

However, as the second housemate to leave the series was announced many fans could be heard calling for another contestant to leave. As hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best tried to make their announcement to the housemates inside the Big Brother house, many of the live audience members joined in the chanting of “get Kerry out”. Fans at home shared their reactions on social media, as one said: “Love the ‘Get Kerry’ out.”

Another added: “The crowd were completely SAVAGE with their shouting.” Someone else commented: “‘Get Kerry out!’ Old school crowd mob…” A fourth wrote alongside a pic of first evictee make-up artist Farida: “We all know who started the ‘Get Kerry Out’ chants.” During the nominations earlier this week, fans slammed Kerry over her reaction.

There were shocked expressions all around – despite those having voted for 28-year-old Zak and 25-year-old Henry knowing they had voted for the boys themselves. Among those looking gobsmacked was 40-year-old Kerry who announced she did not see the result coming. However, Kerry had targeted Zak with her own vote, explaining in the diary room: “My first nomination is for Zak. He is coming across a little bit as two faced. He likes to s**t-stir. He goes to other groups, winding people up, and I would go as far as to say I don’t trust Zak.”

Viewers hit out at Kerry for acting surprised when Zak was nominated. One said: “what exactly is kerry shocked about you lit voted for him.” Another wrote: “Kerry’s actually so f**king annoying and dramatic?? Why is she shocked when she literally voted for them???? #bbuk.” Another enraged viewer added: “Oh p*** off kerry! ‘Oh that’s shocking’ ‘oh I didn’t see that coming’ you f**king voted for them! Ugh she proper winds me up.” Another tweeted: “Can Kerry shut up! You literally voted for Zak you d***head.”

While Big Brother fans were confused with Kerry once again on Thursday over her reaction to Hallie and Olivia’s rule break in the house. Big Brother caught Hallie and Olivia drawing housemates’ names on each other’s backs during nominations, and exposed the rule breaking to the whole house. Hallie and Olivia were sent to a jail in the garden, where they had to sit in the rain in orange uniforms.

As Hallie and Olivia were exposed by Big Brother, Hallie burst out laughing to which Kerry said: “It’s not funny!” before acting gobsmacked over the rule breaking. However, viewers were left baffled as Big Brother had said that Olivia had told Kerry about the secret messages while she was sat next to the duo during the rule breaking. Later, Kerry even admitted to ignoring the rule breaking as she didn’t want to draw any attention to it.

Viewers were left confused as to why Kerry would act shocked to the rule breaking when she knew it had happened. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “Kerry acting shocked… girl you were right there #bbuk!”, a different account put: “Kerry was acting shocked when she knew all along #bbuk!”, another viewer wrote: “KERRY ACTING SHOCKED AMD SHE KNEW??? #BBUK.”
