The cameraman approached from behind and Curran clearly felt he got too close so pushed him away.

Curran, 25, then pointed towards the boundary as if to show the cameraman crossed the line.

The Surrey star appeared a little frustrated as England were struggling to find a breakthrough with the ball in hand.

Afghanistan were 76 without loss in the tenth over at the time of the incident.

Opening batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz was in command – he ended his innings with 80 runs scored from just 57 balls.

Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran produced a 114-run partnership for the first wicket before the latter fell to Adil Rashid, who took 3-42.

Mark Wood took two wickets with England bowling Afghanistan out for 284 with just one ball to spare.

England’s batting attack did not get off to the best start with Johnny Bairstow bowled LBW for just two runs.
